At HEALYEG, we're on a mission to showcase the heart and soul of our beloved city, which is why we're thrilled to invite you to RISE UP 2024, an electrifying event dedicated to celebrating everything that makes Edmonton special.
Join us at The Backyard on Friday, June 7th, as we come together to lift our spirits and raise money for the Parkinson Association of Alberta. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., experience live musical performances by Edmonton's finest talents followed by DJs that will keep the party going from 10 p.m. to late.
RISE UP 2024 is more than just a night of music and dancing. It's a celebration of Edmonton's vibrant community, featuring a local food vendor serving up the flavours that define our city's culinary scene. Also featuring captivating paintings to awe-inspiring sculptures, immerse yourself in the creativity of our local talent that reflect the beauty and diversity of our city.
The heart of RISE UP 2024 lies in our commitment to giving back. That's why we're proud to announce that all ticket sales will go directly to the Parkinson Association of Alberta supporting their vital work in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. Plus, don't miss your chance to participate in our fundraising activities, including a 50/50 draw and a raffle with fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Pitch In 2024
Pitch In Slow Pitch tournament is our annual summer main event. Each team selects an Edmonton-based charity on their registration form. HEAL YEG then donates funds raised at the tournament to the winning team’s charity of choice. Last year’s tournament champions, Big Dubs, selected the MS Society of Canada to receive the over $8,000 we raised! The MS Society provides services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease. We have a membership of over 7,000 and are the only national voluntary organization in Canada that supports both MS research and services.
This year’s tournament is on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Henry Singer Park.
Early bird registration is now open for teams that played last year. Registration to the public will open on May 15, 2024.

motionbowl 2024
HEALYEG has partnered up with motionball for our annual motionBOWL bowling tournament on Thursday, April 11, hosted at Plaza Bowling Co.!
The tournament will consist of 24 teams of four to compete for the trophy and grand prize provided by our sponsors, in support of Special Olympic athletes through motionball. We encourage all teams to dress up in a theme to be entered into the contest for the best costume award!
motionball is a not-for-profit organization that empowers young Canadians to be leaders in their communities, raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics so that individuals with intellectual disabilities can lead happier, healthier lives. Their mandate is to introduce the next generation of Canadian professionals and university students to the Special Olympics movement through integrated social and sporting events, creating relevant, meaningful experiences that help bring the fun back into giving.
The tournament will include prizes, a raffle draw, a 50/50 draw, live DJ’s, and much more!

Share a Meal with HEAL is a virtual cooking class series brought to you by the team at HEALYEG in partnership with YEG Property Pros, The Italian Centre Shops, SYC Brewing Co., and LOCAL Public Eatery.
Join Chef John Milakovic and co-host Carson Langridge from YEG Property Pros, as they guide you through the creation of a delicious home-cooked meal.
You'll hear from our partners at SMILE YEG and SYC Brewing Co., have an opportunity to win some prizes, and be invited to party together in person at LOCAL on Jasper Ave.
For each meal purchased and prepared, a second meal is provided to the less fortunate through our friends at SMILE YEG. Visit our Partners page to learn more about them.
